| Sound-Off is an audio community bulletin board in which registered users can post and share audio clips. Think of it as a Flickr service for audio files. With Sound-Off you can post voice messages from any phone to the web. Just dial the number above and follow the voicemail instructions. Your message will automatically be posted!

| To start a thread with Sound Off, you need to create a profile. Click on the new user link at the top of page and fill out the form. You will then have a profile page, where you have the access to manage your personal information and all of the posts you make.

| Once you have a profile, it's easy to post a message. Just dial the number above, and when the Sound Off operator answers, dial 0 then the # key. (In order to be recognized by Sound Off, you need to call from a telephone that you listed in your Profile page.) When you've finished, your voice message will automatically be listed on your Profile page. |
| To start a thread with your voice message, select the message from your Profile page. You will be asked to provide a text description and other information about your message. Hit submit when you have finished, and your message is automatically listed on the Sound Off index page.

| You don't need a Sound Off profile in order to respond to a thread. When you find an interesting thread, make a note of the thread number listed after the text description. Call the Sound Off number above; when the Sound Off operator answers, dial the thread number followed by the # key. When you've finished your post, hang up and your response is listed on the Thread page. |
| If you find a interesting thread on the index page, click on the Thread Title link to hear it. To listen to the responses others have made, click on the Responses link below the text description. You will be taken to the thread page, which contains the original thread post and all the responses others have left. To hear an individual response, click on the response, or to hear the thread followed by all responses, click Listen To All below the Thread description.
